Smart technology for a strong manufacturing industry with 24/7 uninterrupted production of IIoT solutions for companies.
The manufacturing industry in Belgium and Western Europe is under significant pressure due to rising costs, the need for a green transition, and increasing competition — including from China. Preserving our prosperity depends on maintaining this industry, and that can only be achieved by increasing productivity.
Digitalization plays a key role in this. Our “operations first” approach ensures that companies operate safely and optimally 24/7, allowing them to unlock their full potential and create sustainable value. True to our motto, “practice what you preach,” all our products are designed and manufactured in Belgium.
We help companies unlock their full potential and create sustainable value through digitalization. With our "operations first" approach, we ensure businesses operate safely and optimally 24/7. From pharmaceutical cleanrooms to high-tech manufacturing environments, our innovative solutions guarantee resilience, continuity, and security.
At sAInce.io, we don't just design technology; we design the future. Every product we develop is engineered and manufactured in Belgium, fully aligned with our motto: “Practice what you preach.”
With over 25 years of experience (in the 90s we called it telemetry), we specialize in bridging the gap between operational and information technology, enabling seamless system integration.
Our systems are NIS2-compliant, IEC-62443-certified, and designed to withstand disruptions such as cyberattacks or network outages without compromising operational continuity.
By leveraging edge devices, broker technology, and a hybrid approach, we design scalable infrastructures that address today’s challenges and are ready for the future.
Whether it’s tailored solutions or proactive support, we always put our customers’ needs first and make their success our success.
Digitalization is not just about technology; it's about creating sustainable growth and resilience. At sAInce.io, we work tirelessly to ensure our customers stay ahead. We are not just a service provider — we are your partner in innovation.
Let’s shape the future of manufacturing together.
Founded in May 2020, we are pioneers in the field of IIoT with autonomous smart devices and equipment. Each of us has over 20 years of experience in automation within manufacturing environments. Over the years, we’ve gained expertise in IIoT, microservice development, DevOps, big data, and machine learning.
We continue to build on our network of colleagues to bring you the very best in smart manufacturing.
Originally, I started my career as an expert in object-oriented design and development.
More than 20 years ago, I transitioned into data warehousing and business intelligence, and I have since specialized in big data and data science.
My main interests lie in deep learning, big data technologies and data architectures.
I’m a full-stack development engineer who builds front-end, back-end, data pipelines, as well as reporting and analytical applications.
In my free time, I’m very passionate about salsa dancing. So much so that I have performed internationally and ran my own dance school where I tought LA-style salsa.
I’m the sAInce IIoT whizz “kid” and one of our founders, as well as the inventor of the IIoT smart sensor location ID patent (BE2014/5160).
At the age of 12, I bought my first computer — an Apple IIe — and started coding. Ten years later, driven by a passion for technology, I graduated as an electronics and embedded systems engineer.
Since then, I’ve been designing and developing mission-critical smart distributed monitoring, telemetry, and IIoT systems.
I spent many years working in the pharmaceutical industry, holding roles in maintenance, project engineering, industrial automation, and software compliance.
As an energy efficiency consultant, I have helped companies across various sectors reduce their energy bills. I’ve been highly successful in implementing and maintaining continuous improvement programs.
In recent years, I have become an expert in test automation and DevOps.
